MIDFSC Bylaws
- Self-discipline is one of the most important qualities of a successful skater. Discipline within the club is necessary in order for each participating athlete to gain the maximum benefit from this training environment. It is important to remember that you are judged by your actions, your words and your appearance as this reflects on us all as a club.
- Coaches are to be treated with respect.
- Drugs, alcohol and smoking are prohibited.
- Use of profane language will not be tolerated on or off the ice.
- Music shall be played on a rotation basis. Coaches requiring music played during a lesson take priority.
- Treat others with respect and consideration.
- Consider your safety regarding all other skaters, skaters performing their programmes to music have precedence over all other skaters and coaches.
- Don’t play games or mess about on the ice in such a way that could compromise your safety or the safety and enjoyment of others.
- We welcome parents interested in their children’s skating. Please do not create a distraction as this breaks all the skaters’ concentration and may lead to accidents.
- The arena staff and facility are to be treated with respect.
- Please do not kick the ice, climb over or sit on the boards.
- Get off the ice IMMEDIATELY when the zamboni comes onto the ice surface and leave the changing area and arena clean.
