Anyone wanting a club fleece for the Open competition, the last day for ordering will be Monday 27th Feb

Please note there will be no dance classes on Sunday 19th & 26th Feb 2012.

The club have agreed to hold a sponsored skate on Sunday 26th Febuary in aid of the Vanessa Riddle Appeal. Any member of the club or anyone involved in our skate UK programme wishing to participate can obtain sponsorship forms from Amanda Baird or Nicola Nicholl. We will be holding the sponsored skate between 12.00 and 12.30pm.

We are pleased to announce that we will be holding our Opens event this year on the 16th/17th & 18th March 2012 at our new full sized pad 56m x 30m in the Auchenharvie Leisure Centre, Stevenston, Ayrshire.

We are please to announce that we have added a Members Area to the MIDFSC website.

By registering with the site you will be able to access the Member's Area, where we will be publishing information in the future.  However, the immediate benefit of registration is that we will be able to communicate directly with you by email.  This will be particulary beneficial when we have informtation we need to communicate on short notice, such issues with the rink or changes to club sessions.

You can register with the site by selecting the Member's Area link from the top left menu.   A couple of things to note about the registration process:

• You will be asked to provide an email address. We will use this email address to contact you with news and announcements.
• We will be setting up two email groups: skaters and parents/guardians. All email to skaters will be copied to parents/guardians, however we may, when appropriate, send some emails to parents/guardians but not to skaters.
• To ensure the privacy of members and the club, all membership requests will be approved by the committee, preventing automated membership requests.  There will therefore be a slight delay while new logins are activated.
• To comply with Child Safety recommendations, all members under 13 will require consent from parents before logins are created.  These members can register online, but the MIDFSC will confirm registration with parents or guardians prior to activating the account.
• If multiple logins are being created (e.g. parent and skater), two separate email addresses will be required.
• If you have any questions regarding this registration process or the way in which we will use the registration data, please talk to a member of the commitee or email .
